Time Capsule - July 27, 2007: Bicyclist Downed By Thug Cop, Arrested, Then Un-Arrested

It seems the NYPD has a history of unprovoked violence against cyclists. In the image below, taken by James Wagner, the police officer is pulling a cyclist to his feet after shoving him off of his bicycle during the NY Union Square First Amendment rally, July 27, 2007.
