it’s a death trap, and clearly each person who steals it realizes this after riding… when these fools first take it, they neglect to notice that (1) the rear brakes are disconnected, (2) shifting gears will throw the derailleur into the rear wheel, and (3) the front brake works minimally, at best.

so, to the next person who steals my bike, be aware that you will likely need some stitches and casts like all the rest who have come before you… and to the moron who took it OUT OF MY APARTMENT BUILDING last night, i hope your insane looking crash on jefferson st (made apparent by my mud-covered bike lying in skid marks on the ground by a street sign, with the rear brake handle frantically wrenched and the derailleur in the rear wheel) last night didn’t kill you- just hurt you enough to remind you to never steal my bike again.
